Magics

Second magics (or a first one) can be learned from the Spirit, but magics that conflict with eachother cannot be possessed by a single person unless he or she an extremely powerful mage and has the strengh to control both of them and keep them from destroying each other.

Wind:
The power to summon and control winds
Conflicts with: Nothing Else

Plant:
The power to control and rapidly grow plants. If willed, plants can also be killed with this magic.
Conflicts with: Ice and Flame

Earth:
Control over earth. Earthquakes and rockslides are common. Please note that this does not involve levitating rocks, or making them fly; that would be an ability gained from knowing Telekinesis, not just Earth magic.
Conflicts with: Water

Water:
The power to collect and use water. Water mages can control the flow of water and summon rainstorms and fog.
Conflicts with: Earth and Flame

Ice:
The power to make temperatures drop and cause water to freeze. Small quantities of water in the air can be collected and frozen, but the ice cannot simply be created, already-existing water is necessary for this magic.
Conflicts with: Plant

Lightning:
The power over electricity. With this power, sparks and lightning bolts can be created and directed.
Conflicts with: Nothing else

Flame:
The power to summon and control fire. Fire mages can also put out fires.
Conflicts with: Plant and Water

Mind:
There are two different types of Mind magic: Telekinesis and Telepathy. Telepathy is mind reading and mental communication, and Telekinesis is the ability to move objects with one's mind. These magics, however, are very rare, and while both kinds can be possessed by the same person, usually only one is possessed.
Conflicts with: Nothing else

Illusion:
The power to create images that are not really there. They are only images, however, and cannot be physical objects.
Conflicts with: Nothing else
