About the Site

The Island of Eniryn is an online text-based medieval fantasy roleplaying community. It was originally created on November 25 of 2002 on a community hosting site called Avid Gamers. The original site, called The Island of Myst, had its periods of activity and inactivity as it grew and changed. The creation of Avid Gamers version 2, however, brought the possibility and rumours of Avid Gamers 1 being shut down, and as a result, Myst version 2 was created here on the 11th of December, 2005. Due to the discovery that the name "Myst" is a registered trademark of Ubisoft, the site's name was changed to Eniryn shortly before its opening on March 31st, 2006.

Requirements for Joining:

• Full Character description including Physical Appearance, Personality, History (Optional if you don't have one), and any other information
  
• A Roleplay example with acceptable spelling, grammar, punctuation, etc, preferrably 2 paragraphs long
  
• Must read Rules and Magics pages before joining
  
• Must be able to remain an active member
  
• Self-invented species must include a brief species description in the application, and must have a name for the species
